  • What is the Howl O Ween for Hounds?
  • A fun day to spend with your family and your Basset Hound(s) and Bloodhound(s), and their siblings, while meeting other great hound loving folks.
  • Contest for the hounds for longest ears, lowest to the ground and more.
  • Costume judging for the hounds.  Dress up your hounds and parade them around to win prizes!
  • Games for you with your hound
  • Raffle items with lots of great Basset items
  • Basset themed item fire sale
  • Lunch $6 per person

Bring your chairs, blankets and find a favorite spot on the grass to spend a very relaxing day with your hounds and fellow hound lovers!

Location:  The lovely home and garden of Dave & Joe Perry, 6239 N Paradise view Dr., Paradise Valley.  Directions:  From Camelback Road, go north on 40th Street and left at Paradise View Dr.  Street parking will be available.

Registration Day of the Event at 9:00 a.m.:  $13 for the 1st dog and $10 for each additional dog.

AZBHR current foster dogs are free to attend and foster homes are encouraged to bring them to this fun event where many families come to meet their potential new family member.

What you don’t have a hound, but would like to participate?  No problem, $5 per hound-less human and kids under 2 get in free with paying attendance.

NOTE:  All Basset Hounds, Bloodhounds and their siblings, their owners and fans are welcome.  Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations.  Owner and parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their pets and children before, during and after this event.  The sale of puppies will not be permitted.
