Banjo was found wandering the streets and taken to Maricopa County west side in 2011.
The next day they called AZBHR asking if we could take him as he was totally
unresponsive to food, water, and people. He would be put to sleep the next morning.
He was extimated to be 2yrs old. AZBHR picked him up that afternoon.
It was discovered that Banjo has a congenital heart defect. Since then, he has been on a special diet, and 5 meds twice daily.
He must have regular blood tests and an occasional exam by the cardiologist.
Banjo is a happy boy and has lived much longer than expected.
He will remain a forever foster due to his complicated medical needs.
AZBHR thanks Diane Salvato for being an angel donor for Banjo
