Chloe

Chloe

“My name is Chloe.  I am 13 years young.  I was surrendered to AZBHR because I had a few masses that needed to be removed along with some sores on my legs.  My sores are completely healed now.  Three of the masses were removed and all were tested as non-cancerous.  I have one lump still on my chest that should be watched, in case it gets worse.  My mouth bothers me sometimes so I should probably have some dental work done.  My foster will mix canned food with my dry kibble when I’m having a rough day.  I can get very vocal when I decide I’m hungry but I don’t want to eat my dry kibble.  I can also get vocal when I’m happy to see you.  I have gotten quieter while living with my foster family.  They don’t seem to like me barking at them.  I love attention and sleeping.  I do get bursts of energy though.  I am learning about toys.  I have never had any before.  I had fun throwing a ball up in the air and trying to catch it the other day.  I get along with my foster brothers most of the time.  Sometimes, I just want to be left alone.  I do well in the car but I’m not thrilled about it.  I love going for walks though.  I am doggy door trained.  I’m working on being house trained without a doggy door.  I do well most of the time but I have an occasional accident.  I am crate trained but I sometimes get noisy.  I was always left in it for so long so now I really don’t like going in the crate.  I never get in any trouble when I’m left out at home alone though.  I enjoy sunbathing but otherwise, I don’t really like being left outside.  I haven’t been around cats or children in a really long time, so I’m not sure if I would like them or not.  I just want to find someone that will give me lots of attention and a comfy bed.  Will that be you?”
