Basset Hounds have a reputation of being very lazy, having long ears and droopy eyes. While they may have long ears and droopy eyes many are NOT lazy. When looking to adopt a Basset Hound keep in mind that puppies and young Bassets are VERY active and need a playmate with lots of exercise to keep them out of trouble. If you are looking for a more laid back Basset Hound you may want to look to at an older hound.

They could end up taking a huge leap off a flight of stairs like this poor husky, who has probably never seen a set of them before. This brave pup was just exploring its new house and came upon the common design feature and acted in the way it knew how.
If you believe having your dog close by helps you sleep better, good news: the science suggests you’re probably right. But a new study indicates where your dog sleeps is important for a good night’s rest.
